How to service the Fuel Tank Straps on 2000 Ford Taurus?

In order to service fuel tank straps, lift up the vehicle and hold down the tank. Take off the strap bolt, align with the body bracket and take off the pin. In order to install it, do it in reverse, installing all the straps in turn and holding the tank. The strap is fixed by the alignment pin.
