To service the fuel tank straps, lift up the tank and hold the vehicle. Take off the strap bolt, and place the strap pin to the bracket on the body and take off the pin. Installation To install, do reverse, with each strap installed at a time and with the tank supported. The strap is going to be attached to the hinged end.
