The ABS sensor electrical connector needs to be removed along with pulling out the ABS sensor harness from brake hose retaining clips. Proceed by removing the ABS sensor after first removing its clip then its sensor portion. Seating the new clip should be performed until it rests in place before putting in the new sensor. Installation requires the application of RTV Silicone Sealant F5TZ-19G204-AB with Ford specification NAVSTR Seater on the outside diameter of the ABS sensor. The application amount should be 2.5 mm (0.1 inch).
