How to Address Issues with the Knock Sensor on 2000 Lincoln LS?

In order to get a knock sensor, remove battery ground cable. Take out the lower intake manifold of the sensor on top. Unscrew electric connection ends, and strip the nut on the side-mounted sensor and the bolt on the top-mounted sensor. Install new sensors on the reversal of the steps of removal.
