Start by following the procedure for refrigerant discharging and recovery to obtain the refrigerant. Pull the wire harness connection on the A/C pressure cut-off switch then take out the whole switch unit. First properly disconnect the A/C compressor from condenser discharge line through the removing of its supporting nut before completely separating this line from the A/C manifold and tube using spring lock coupling procedures. The A/C compressor to condenser discharge line should be disconnected from the A/C condenser core and the line should be removed. The installation process requires reverse application of removal steps while using PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or an equivalent product that fulfills Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B to lubricate the O-ring seal.
