Before starting service on the cruise control servo, squeeze the retaining tab of the speed control cable cap before rotating the cap. To remove the speed control cable you should squeeze the spring retainer before sliding the core wire end out of the speed control servo pulley. First disconnect the electrical connector before separating the wire harness from its bracket. Then remove the speed control actuator assembly through the removal of nuts. The separation happens once you remove all bolts which detach the speed control actuator from its bracket. Use the opposite steps from removal to perform installation.
