How to service and repair the evaporator core on 2001 Ford Explorer?

The evaporator core should be serviced follow-up by disconnection of battery, release of refrigerant and detachment of different electrical connectors. Disconnect the heater core and put the speed control servo out of the way. Take away the windshield washer reservoir, A/C manifold and evaporation housing. Lastly, unscrew the suction accumulator and take out the evaporator core as the reverse also applies to install it.
