How to service and repair the hood latch on 2001 Ford Explorer?

In order to service the hood latch, lift and prop the hood, and intensify the radiator grille sight shield. Then, take out the bolts and loosen the hook of the hood. Bark the latch position and remove. To install, repeat the process in reverse and change the latch accordingly.
