Remove the hood latch release handle by unfastening all its screws. Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover by first unscrewing it. The next step involves the removal of the lower instrument panel reinforcement through its securing bolts. Position the column gear shift lever aside when it comes from factory with this feature.
