How to service the Headlight Switch on Ford Explorer Sport?

In order to maintain the headlamp switch, disconnect the battery ground cable and disassemble the instrument panel center finish panel and the hood latch release handle. Unscrew, then slide back, the cluster finish panel, unscrew the instrument panel cover and the bolts and unscrew the connectors on the headlamp switch. Installation of the new switch is reverse.
