The first step for repairing the headlamp switch requires users to disconnect the car battery ground cable. The first step requires removing the instrument panel center finish panel which includes unscrewing it and disconnecting its electrical connectors. Remove the
Hood Latch release handle by unfastening all its screws. Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover by first unscrewing it. The next step involves the removal of the lower instrument panel reinforcement through its securing bolts. Position the column gear shift lever aside when it comes from factory with this feature. Before disconnecting the electrical connectors the cluster finish panel must be set aside through an unscrewing process followed by removing the headlamp switch knob and cluster finish panel itself. Finish the installation by removing the headlamp switch through unthreading its mounting screws. Reverse the steps from removal to perform the installation process.
