How to service and repair the windshield washer pump on 2001 Ford Explorer?

In order to service the windshield washer pump, disconnect the washer hose and empty the reservoir. Next, unplug the hose of the coolant overflow and seal the outlet. Unhook the electrical connectors of the pump and sensor, take out the reservoir and make sure to remove the pump out carefully. The installation procedure should be reversed.
