To disconnect the slave cylinder use a 3/32-inch punch, hammer and discard the roll pin before you separate the hydraulic tube from the slave cylinder. Keep note that an O-ring seal might stay within the slave cylinder before you discard it and put a cap on the hydraulic tube end. When installing the slave cylinder position it above an appropriate container while angling the hydraulic tube connection port above the push rod. Then fill it with DOT 3 brake fluid that meets Ford specifications ESA-M6C25-A such as Ford High Performance DOT 3 Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AB or equivalent DOT 3 products.
