How to service and repair the throttle body on 2001 Ford Taurus?

To access throttle body, take out the air cleaner outlet tube, retainers and accelerator cable cover. Unplug throttle and cruise control cables, and TP sensor connector. Unscrew the accelerator cable bracket bolts and strip off the throttle body. Install new gasket and repeat the process, not to take the risk of ignition.
