2001 Lincoln Continental Air Duct Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the air duct on 2001 Lincoln Continental?
A: The process of servicing the air duct starts by removing the instrument panel through the procedure of screw removal and disconnection of the windshield defroster hose nozzle. The right-hand and left-hand A/C side window demister hoses need disconnection from the A/C plenum demister adapter. The heater air plenum chamber needs removal through hose vacuum disconnecting and chamber unscrewing. Begin uninstallation of the air duct by removing screws binding the RH A/C side window demister and hose then proceeding to remove screws for the bracket before finally removing the screws from the LH A/C side window demister and hose. The assembly process will be done by completing each step of disassembly in opposite order.
