How to service and repair the air duct on 2001 Lincoln LS?

Start air duct servicing by taking out the plenum chamber then the instrument cluster and passenger side air bag before working on. Start by removing the right-hand demister screw as the left-hand side uses the same screw pattern. Then proceed to detach the defroster duct using the screws. Detach the driver side panel duct screw before taking out the center screw that is installed into the driver side panel duct. The driver side demister nozzle removal begins with extracting its screw then unfastening the panel screw to separate the demister nozzle from the driver side panel duct. The panel duct removal begins with taking out the panel duct screw from the passenger side followed by the passenger side panel duct screw to free the panel duct. At the end of assembly follow the steps of reinstallation in reverse order.
