How to Service and Repair Coil Springs on 2001 Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the coil spring, raise the car and take out the front wheel. Remove the shock absorber, press and take out the coil spring. Install the new spring keeping the bolts on the lower arm loose till the vehicle is lowered. Install shock absorber and the front wheel and tighten all bolts.
