Move on by uninstalling the screw before untwisting the door latch release handle that breaks connection with the rod. Begin by removing the lock rod bellcrank rivet before unconnecting the lock rod from the lock rod bellcrank and the rod from the clip. The actuating rod releases through opening the clip while technicians disconnect all electrical connectors which include the door lock actuator electrical connector. First disconnect the door latch by removing its rivet as well as all screws and finally extracting the entire latch. The installation process should follow the opposite of uninstallation steps.
