How to service and repair the intake air duct on 2001 Mercury Mountaineer?

In order to service the intake air duct, it is necessary to remove the engine appearance cover and disconnect the speed control cable, when it is available. Next, loosen the bolts, air cleaner outlet tube, and unclips the wire harness and unconnects the crankcase ventilation tubes. To install, repeat the process in reverse, without screw clamps coming in contact with throttle body cam.
