The procedure involves first removing the bolt together with the flag nut and shock absorber with spring assembly for discarding the flag nut. A safe spring compressor should be utilized to contract the spring until shock absorber tension becomes nullified. You must unfasten the shock absorber by removing the holder nut while holding the flats of the washer unit. Toss out the discarded nut.
