How to service and repair the speedometer head on 2001 Mercury Sable?

Removing the instrument cluster, fuelled gauge, and indicator module are required in order to service the speedometer head. Take off screws of the lens, range indicator and cluster mask. The speedometer, the gauges, the indicator and lighting bulbs should be taken off carefully. Lastly, remove the printed circuit to replace with new gauge contact clips.
