    Service and repair of the speedometer head starts by disconnecting the instrument cluster and the fuel gauge and fuel indicator module. First uninstall the screws that fix the instrument cluster lens before you remove the range indicator screws along with the range indicator and cluster mask. Handle all gauge components and parts with caution when removing the speedometer and fuel/temperature gauge and tachometer. Use a pair of tweezers to remove the indicator bulbs followed by the lighting bulbs before taking out the instrument gauge retaining clips by maneuvering the clip ends together then pushing them forward through the cluster surface while maintaining careful contact with the printed circuit. The printed circuit removal process from the instrument cluster should be done with great caution. New gauge contact clips should be installed during assembly before conducting the reverse sequence of disassembly steps.
