How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on 2002 Ford Escort?

To service throttle cable, remove the accelerator cable of throttle control lever and throttle control bracket. Eliminate retaining clips and bolts to lower the accelerator pedal and shaft, and loosen the cable. Lastly remove the cable out of bulkhead. Installation Reverse the process and make the necessary adjustments.
