How to Service and Repair the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2002 Lincoln Blackwood?

In order to service the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, disassemble the air cleaner assembly without breaking the sensor. Disassemble the electrical connector, the grommet and MAF sensor plate, then separate the parts. Make sure that the grommet is correctly positioned when reinstalled and the reverse steps of removal must be followed to the end.
