How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on 2002 Lincoln Blackwood?

To work on throttle cable and throttle linkage, disconnect the accelerator and speed control cables of air intake resonator. To remove the speed control-cable, turn throttle cam clockwise after which it is removed off the accelerator bracket. In the case of accelerator cable, unplug it off the pedal and throttle cam. Install to reverse the procedure.
