How to service the front door window regulator on 2002 Lincoln LS?

A service of the front door window regulator begins with glass removal from the front door window. Service the front door window regulator by beginning with disconnecting the door latch electrical connector and removing the anti-theft shield screw. Taking off the nut should be followed by placing the anti-theft shield to the side. Separate the clip to free the exterior door handle actuating rod and after that discard the nut but keep the door lock cylinder on the driver door. The service starts with unscrewing the latch screws while also removing the two nuts and bolt and inner front door support bracket. Continue the process by taking out the bolts maintaining the front door inner support and then proceeding to eliminate the bolts anchoring the window regulator assembly. The harness locators need to be disconnected first followed by proper harness positioning. To install the door lock cylinder begin by following the opposite order of removal steps.
