How to Service the Yaw Sensor on 2002 Lincoln LS?

Service of the yaw rate sensor begins with taking out the floor console and center A/C duct. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector before you can remove the sensor by unscrewing its retaining bolts. Position the connector at the left side of the vehicle when installing the yaw rate sensor after which you should follow the removal procedure in reverse order. Recalibration of the stability assist module becomes necessary immediately after a component gets disconnected or moved or new components get installed and requires correct procedures found in the Principles of Operation.
