How to Service and Repair the Accelerator Cable on 2002 Mercury Cougar?

In order to fix the accelerator pedal cable, remove it out of the engine cover, intake air resonator and throttle body. Take out the bracket retaining clip and cable, and then press the housing out of the bulkhead. Install a draw cord to be easily installed, in the opposite order.
