How to service and repair the cruise control switch on 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis?

Start the cruise control switch service by first removing the steering wheel and then using the steering wheel cover screws along with taking off the steering wheel cover. Remove the cover first then take away the electrical connector and wire harness from it. After pushing speed control actuator switches out from their locations towards the steering wheel face and sliding them through wheel opening spaces you can take them out for replacement. The installation requires following the opposite steps of removal to finish the procedure.
