How to service the rear Tail Light assembly on a four-door on 2002 Mercury Sable?

Removing the scuff plate and carpet, electrical connector and unscrewing the securing nuts allow access to the rear lamp assembly of a four-door car. Lift the assembly out, take out the bulb connectors, and follow the reversal to install, be sure the rubber grommet is in place to keep the water out.
