How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch for the computer on 2002 Mercury Villager?

In order to maintain the Coolant Temperature Sensor, unconnect the battery ground wire and empty the coolant. Take off the sensor of the ECT by disconnecting the electrical connector. To install it, reverse the actions, and put the threads in Pipe Sealant with Teflon ® D8AZ-19554-A in case you want to use the sensor again.
