The HVAC hose/line repair starts by taking out the A/C pressure cut-off switch together with the evaporator core orifice. The disconnect process of condenser to evaporator line from A/C evaporator core should be followed by port plugging to prevent dirt and moisture contamination. You should first detach the evaporator line through removal of its support nut followed by separation from the A/C evaporator core. You should start by removing the front bumper cover then disconnect the condenser to evaporator line from the A/C condenser core by removing its nut while plugging all ports to avoid contamination. Reinstallation requires the same steps in reverse sequence while PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C or an equivalent oil from WSH-M1C231-B Ford specification should be used for lubricating the O-ring seals.
