How to service and repair the A/C Hose on Ford Escape?

Start the HVAC hose/line service and repair process by taking off the A/C pressure cut-off switch and the evaporator core orifice. Before removing the condenser to evaporator line from the A/C evaporator core all ports need plugging to protect from dust and moisture contamination. The front bumper cover comes off first after which the technician disconnects the condenser to evaporator line from the A/C condenser core to access the line above the core without getting any contaminants inside. The installation process requires following the reversal of removal steps while using PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C or an equivalent product which meets Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B to lubricate O-ring seals.
