How to Service and Repair the Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2003 Ford Expedition?

To remove the door lock to the back, open the window as much as possible, take the trim panel out and move the watershield to the side. Take out the childproof lock cover and exterior handle rod. Take out the latch bolts, undo the electrical connectors and unhook the interior door cable. Installation is the opposite, lubricate the latch where necessary.
