How to Remove and Service an Accelerator Cable on 2003 Ford F-150?

In order to fix the accelerator pedal cable, unplug it at the pedal and shaft, unassemble the splash shield, and take the cable off the retaining clip. To install the throttle body cam, pull the cable into the engine compartment, unplug it to the throttle body cam, and pull out the snap-in end fitting. Installation is also the reverse of the above steps.
