How to service the hood latch on 2003 Ford Focus?

In order to service the hood latch, remove the radiator air deflector and grill. Unscrew the hood latch bolts and uncombine the electrical connector and be careful not to damage the radiator fins. Take the latch and move it aside and disconnect the release cable, and then completely remove it. Installation is done in the reverse order.
