Start service on the rear door glass top run by taking out the speaker and bolster from the rear door then move the door latch release handle to the side. Touching the adhesive area should be avoided because it hinders the repair work. Next, remove the watershield. The window regulator handle installation requires manual windows but power windows need the connection of door glass operating switch electrical connectors. The regulator clamp should face the access hole without removing the door glass while you can separate the window glass from the regulator through the pin and sleeve release method and glass clamp disconnection. Reactivate manual window vehicles by taking out the regulator handle yet power windows need the disconnection of electrical connectors from the operating switch before removing the top run of the driver door glass. The reinstall procedure requires the opposite steps of what was performed during removal.
