How to Service and Repair the Front Washer Reservoir and Pump on 2003 Ford Focus?

In order to service the windshield washer pump and reservoir; loosen the filler neck screws, raise the vehicle and remove the left fender splash shield. Unscrew electrical connectors and hoses to get the reservoir and pump out. Capped the rear vent tube to avoid leaks. Petroleum jelly should be applied on the filler neck and reinstalled.
