How to Service and Repair the RH Door Lock Actuators for the Power Sliding Door on 2003 Ford Windstar?

Service procedures for the right drive assembly actuator of the power sliding door begin with opening both the right power sliding door and the right rear quarter window. Begin services on the right drive assembly actuator of the power sliding door by first removing CJB fuse 6 (15A) and the right quarter trim panel then followed by the power sliding door center track molding. Begin by closing the door to 100 millimeters (4 inches) from B-pillar then remove the front cable through the removal of its retaining clip. The power sliding door should be opened halfway to disconnect the rear cable while both clips need to be removed. Next remove the bolts before passing the rear cable through the body until it reaches the interior space of the vehicle. Complete the task by removing the front cable bolts to allow the cable to travel through. Disconnection of connectors and screw removal from the control module enables the slide of this module away from the actuator drive assembly before handling this assembly. Place the actuator drive assembly and install the control module into position then secure it with the screw before connecting all connectors. The front cable and pulley guide nozzle receives exterior access through the body during which bolts get installed. Then a similar process takes place for the rear cable installation. You should replace old cable eyelet retaining clips during installation by placing the front cable onto the hinge pin with its tab positioned behind it and doing the same for the rear cable. The power sliding door center track molding must be reinstalled after you position the safety belt above the cable conduit then replace the right rear quarter trim panel. Use the overhead console switch to activate door initialization by performing full opening and closing cycles of both power sliding doors.
