How to service and repair the air duct on 2003 Lincoln Town Car?

Start the air duct service operation by first removing the instrument panel then the audio unit before proceeding. First unscrew the device followed by unscrewing the screws to free the LH demister. Continued work requires removing the screws which separate the LH instrument panel duct from the assembly then moving to the removal of the screws attached to the RH demister and RH instrument panel duct. The rest of the screws should be removed before taking out the plenum chamber assembled with the defroster duct and center instrument panel duct. Perform the reverse steps in the disassembly order to reassemble the components.
