How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2004 Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to service the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, un-hook the battery ground cable. When using non-police vehicles, loosen the MAF connector and air cleaner tube, without touching the sensing elements. Unscrew four bolts to un-install the MAF sensor. In the case of police vehicles, use two screws. Back up to replace the new sensor.
