Service of the mass air flow sensor begins by first detaching its electrical connector. Before moving on, take out the MAF sensor retaining screws while making sure the screws stay at 6 Nm (53 lb-in) during reinstall. The MAF sensor removal process should end by putting the sensor back in place according to the opposite order of removal steps.
