Be aware of potential risks while carrying a live air bag and be sure to point it and its trim cover in the opposite direction from your body before any possible unintended activation occurs. You must detach the steering wheel frame and steering wheel cover by eliminating nuts and unconnecting the ground wire. Remove first the speed control switch by unscrewing it after unplugging the electrical connector. Execute the reverse steps of removal during the installation process.
