How to service and repair the upper control arm on 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

The upper control arm can be serviced by removing the wheel and tire then placing a jack stand on the lower control arm. Install the spindle of the front wheel, then take out the pinch bolt and nut, then the nuts and bolts of the upper arm. Install and check alignment of installations, as required.
