  A: The first step to fix or service the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor is removing the battery tray. The 2.0L service requires disconnection of MAF sensor electrical connector then crankcase ventilation hose and air cleaner outlet hose removal to extract the air cleaner housing from its rubber bushings. The 2.3L engine air cleaner assembly needs to be removed through disconnecting its crankcase ventilation hose and air cleaner outlet hose and then removing two bolts to extract the air cleaner resonator. When removing the air cleaner intake hose and resonator the empty bracket needs to be extracted as well. The TSS sensor first requires us to disconnect its electrical connector.
