The drive belt tensioner requires clockwise rotation to eliminate the drive belt. Complete the service of the right exhaust manifold by removing electrical connectors for both the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor and the A/C compressor. Climb behind the transmission cooler tube bracket by removing the bolt while setting it aside before taking out the bolts holding the A/C compressor for positioning it aside. The exhaust pipe must be disconnected from the exhaust manifold followed by the removal of its eight securing nuts and the gasket. The process of installation includes performing the opposite actions used for removal.
