2004 Mercury Marauder Air Duct Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to Service and Repair an Air Duct for Inlet on 2004 Mercury Marauder?
A: The air inlet duct service begins with removing the plenum chamber after uninstalling the RH front wheel with its tire. Bolts must first be taken out to reposition the fender apron and then proceed with removing the bolt. First remove the screws and pin-type retainer before readjusting the cowl top cover to enable access to the duct nut which can then be extracted. The following step includes releasing the nut and placing the harness cover to the side and then taking out another nut and bolt. The next step requires disconnecting the wiring harness together with the removal of connectors to detach the recirculation air duct. The opposite steps used for removal need to be followed to reinstall the system.
