  A: Positioning the vehicle on a hoist with NEUTRAL setting and disconnecting the battery ground cable stands as the first step for oil pan servicing and repair. Use this order to remove the bolts and engine roll restrictor and the bolt and ground strap and nut. Begin by taking off all nuts from the front exhaust manifold followed by removing the bolt from the rear upper manifold.
