Switch off electrical power to the air suspension system by engaging the air suspension switch situated in the luggage compartment to the OFF position thus avoiding any unexpected changes in the air springs' pressure during hoisting or jacking or towing the vehicle. A hoisted vehicle requires a maintainer to pull down the brake adjuster clip and fully operate the parking brake control until locked. To lock the adjuster move the parking brake adjuster clip upward and let go of the parking brake control. First disconnect the LH parking brake rear cable together with the conduit from the front parking brake cable and conduit at the cable connector using the retaining tabs before removing the bracket retractor.
