How to service and repair the radiator grille support on all on 2005 Ford Excursion?

The radiator grille support maintenance starts by lifting the hood and taking out the upper radiator air deflector after which the grille opening panel reinforcement must be removed. As the next step remove all bolts that secure the radiator support bracket and disconnect the wing nut from the jack handle along with the coolant reservoir retaining bolt. Safely remove the three right side air deflector pushpins. The radiator grille support service requires diesel models to separate the air charge cooler retainers while displaying the left retainer and to also unplug the left side battery cable from the support. Then, remove the hood release. During the air cleaner bracket removal procedure of gasoline models you need to release the retaining bolts starting from the top down to the bottom. Detach the pair of air deflector pin retainer parts found at the radiator support's rear section by removing the left example whereas the right part has similar components. The six retaining bolts attached to each bracket of the radiator support should be removed before extracting the top radiator support. The reverse order of the removal steps will achieve installation completion.
