When replacing the auxiliary line fitting on vehicles you should cut the seals and discard both O-ring seals. The procedure calls for removing intercooler tube clamps in addition to the clamps from all vehicles using a 6.0L Diesel engine. The A/C evaporator core requires you to disconnect the condenser to evaporator line followed by removal of eight pin-type retainers together with the sight shield until you can take off the line from the A/C condenser core. Discard both O-ring seals during this process. Follow the removal procedure in reverse while installing the new line by using fresh O-ring seals and adding the required amount of lubricating PAG oil to the refrigerant system. The refrigerant system requires evacuation together with leak testing and charging.
